How is the Quality of German Products (goods)?
Made in Germany!
The products manufactured in Germany have their own reputation. Do you know why? German products always fulfill the two important factors that everyone looks for:
1. Product design
2. Quality
There are many reputed companies in Germany, and they always try to give their customer the best at affordable prices. The "Made in Germany" label has bagged the first place in Statista's Made-In-Country Index 2017 because of its high-quality goods and services. The automotive industry plays a crucial role in Germany's brand elite.
The top 50 comprises brands from 19 different categories, such as spanning home appliances, apparel, beer, travel, aviation, media, grocery, and more, are included in delivering quality products.
Almost all the top brands like SAP, Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW), Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BOSCH (part of Robert Bosch), Adidas, Nivea (part of Beiersdorf), Fanta (part of The Coca-Cola Company), Porsche (part of VW), Puma, Volkswagen, Adidas, Siemens, Daimler and more are from Germany.
Apart from these top brands, some small brands highlight solid engineering works and innovative designs. For example, Afri-Cola is a cola soft drink produced by a company called F.Blumhoffer Nachfolger Gmbh in Germany. The entire nation consumes this soft drink, and it is exported to different parts of the world. From soft drinks to electronic devices, the German products have reached the people in every corner of the world.
According to the recent survey by Statista, many consumers across the globe have more respect for German products. Germany's quality and high-security standards have helped it rank number 1 in the country-by-country analysis. Nicolas Loose, head of market research with Statista, said that "Germany has very strong, very quality-oriented brands." He also added, "like Volkswagen, like Lufthansa- I think iconic brands contribute to the strong reputation." Sometimes, it is difficult to pinpoint exact statistics of the survey, says Loose. "You can see many stereotypes confirmed," he continued.
Each nation is known for its unique identity. For example, consider Italy. It is known for its design. The famous Italian design firms, ranging from automotive to kitchenware, are loved by many globally.
For another example, consider Switzerland, which is known for its luxury goods. Swiss watches have a worldwide image. Similarly, when it comes to selling or buying a product, the Made in Germany label evokes perceptions of quality, trust, and efficiency.
AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY
As discussed above, Germany is home to many car manufacturing companies. The equipment for the top brand cars are manufactured by many small companies like Boss Hugo Boss. This company makes leather seats for top brand cars. Based on the customer's needs, this company manufactures seats for different surface areas. Several manufacturing companies like Boss Hugo Boss are following the three important rules that help them deliver quality products. Don't bother with low-value commoditized goods is the first German lesson that makes them produce quality products. The second rule is to stay flexible. The Boss company relies more on the worker's capabilities than automation technologies. The third one is to keep the supply chain close to home.
The automobile industry and electronics companies in Germany are also manufacturing high-quality products known across the globe.
Some of the electronics companies of Germany like AEG, Hermann Aron, AVM GmbH, BAE Batterien, BASF, BenQ Mobile, BMK Group, Cherry (keyboards), Chip 1 Exchange, Communicant Semiconductor Technologies, Deister Electronics, Devolo, DSPACE GmbH, Elmos Semiconductor, EnOcean, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Gemalto M2M, Gigaset Communications, Hager Group, Halbleiterwerk Frankfurt (Oder), Harman Becker Automotive Systems, Individual Computers, always ensure to deliver quality products.
